The opportunity
The Analyst Administrative Assistant is a student worker position. The Analyst Administrative Assistant will support the Online Academic Support team by performing clerical tasks such as (but not limited to) weekly data reporting, staff scheduling, daily communications, and data entry. The position is fully remote (online) and will average 10 hour/week with a flexible schedule based on workload. The Academic Support team is student-facing and provides a high volume of tutoring, coaching, and resources to Global Campus students; ideal candidates for the Administrative Assistant role will be organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for supporting the SNHU mission.
Responsibilities
Maintain the Academic Support inbox by writing and responding to email correspondence;
Maintain and distribute emails as necessary in the Academic Coach and Peer Tutoring email box
Prepare communications such as memos, reports, and other correspondence as needed
Manage Workshop scheduling, including posting availability and changing sessions, and update coach and peer tutor scheduling as needed
Maintain weekly data reporting for the Academic Support team, including gathering data from multiple platform resources
Submit appropriate escalation tickets for the Academic Support platform as needed
Maintain the tracking system in SharePoint of escalation tickets with resolution details
Responsible for managing SharePoint events and libraries, ensuring accuracy and availability
Other administrative support tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Current SNHU Global Campus Student
At least five SNHU courses completed with successful outcome (3.5 or better cumulative GPA)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail, punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are essential for this role
Ability to work some shift hours during Monday-Friday, 8-4:30 time frame
Basic working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with administrative duties, especially in email correspondence and data entry
