What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Verify, respond to, and dispatch emergency signals
• Answer incoming calls and notify customers of non-emergency signals
• Process basic data changes to customer accounts
• Handle signals from various locations and TTY stations
• Work under close supervision during the first 30 days
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Proficiency in verification and dispatching of alarms to police/fire agencies
• Knowledge of different types of signals and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office applications, and the internet
• Excellent communication and listening skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• One to three months of related experience or training/certification
• Basic knowledge and understanding of VIP accounts and department
