Chewy is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Oracle B2C Service (aka Oracle Service Cloud) experience to join our Customer Service Platforms team based in Boston (MA). The Software Engineer will work with the Customer Service team at Chewy to plan, design, develop and support information systems used by our Customer Service organization. Responsibilities include CRM integration with AWS, testing infrastructure creation, day-to-day troubleshooting of system issues, scripting and development needed for Oracle Service Cloud CRM, and documenting & configuring systems. This individual will be required to be familiar with Agile processes and effectively communicate, think analytically and solve problems.
What you'll do:
We are looking for a driven individual to take part in our continued rollout of Oracle Service Cloud and related integrations. As part of the Customer Service Platforms team you'll have diverse responsibilities: Configure and customize the Oracle B2C Service application Develop in-depth knowledge of several Chewy business processes and systems environment Monitor alerts and reports to ensure systems are functioning properly Follow established best practices offering repeatable and scalable business processes Interact directly with business users to support solution implementation for business needs Work independently or as a team member and display the ability to coordinate multiple tasks/assignments Take ownership of aspects of our continued effort to deploy a modern microservices based architecture. Assist with root cause analysis and provide solutions for production and development issues Stay current with Oracle B2C Service, AWS and related fields
What you'll need:
Bachelors Degree (MIS or CS preferred) or equivalent work experience
7+ years of full software development lifecycle experience including the ability to perform independent analysis
Have 5+ years of experience developing Oracle B2C Service configuration and customization features: Customer Portal, BUI Extensions, Custom Scripts, Custom Process Models, etc.
5+ years of experience working with RESTful web services
Strong analytical abilities and a strong intellectual curiosity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and organization skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities at a given time
Must be team oriented and have a customer service mindset
Self-driven, able to work independently or within a team setting
Results oriented and adaptable
A working knowledge of call center/contact center operations and processes including general knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology
Nice to Have
Experience administering Oracle B2C Service for large organizations - configurations, workflows, reports, business rules, etc.
Experience with AWS technologies Lambda, State functions, SNS, SQS, etc.
Experience using Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure
Experience using Jenkins to execute CI/CD pipelines
Comfort working with multiple remote team members
Professional Scrum Master Certification
Experience using and implementing automated testing
Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Software Engineer position is $107,000.00 - $215,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
