General Overview...
Were looking for an experienced tech-based sales professional with a proven sales track record for a highly compensated Business Development Manager (BDM) position. Youll be selling A-line telemetry (TM) solutions to Department of Defense, Primes, Integrators, NASA, and commercial customers for our rapidly growing hi-tech company while enjoying space launches, sonic booms and exotic locations supporting all the latest DoD missions. Work REMOTELY from anywhere in the Western USA and join us in delivering cutting-edge solutions to top-tier clients.
Principle Duties
Execute a strategic capture plan to grow DTS under the direction of the Director of Sales
Develop tactical sales strategies to capture long-term and short-term business
Identify new opportunities, pitch DTS solutions, and close sales to meet annual quota
Manage customer relationships at current accounts
Act as the liaison between the customers and DTS engineering for support needs.
Drive the DTS Rep force to scout for new opportunities
Identify future tech and next-gen industry requirements
Keep an updated Pipedrive database for weekly reporting
The BDM typically has a 40-hour week, but longer hours may be required to accomplish DTS objectives.
Travel as needed to customer sites, industry shows and DTS facilities
Qualifications
BA/ BS in a tech-based degree
Must have a successful sales track record selling to DoD sites, Prime and Integrator facilities
Must be a highly organized self-starter who can operate independently, managing travel schedule, sales calls, and customer follow-up
Must work well with a team of fellow sales leads and engineering staff
Must be able to quickly learn company products/solutions
Must be an outstanding communicator written, verbal and presenting
Must be loyal and looking for long term employment
A working knowledge of ground telemetry is a plus
Able to obtain an active U.S. security clearance is a plus
This position may require exposure to information, which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e., the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
