Posted 2025-05-17We are working with a large employer in the Chattanooga area to place 3 Data Entry Clerks into a 1 year contract opportunity. In this role, you will be handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. Please note, this is a remote opportunity but candidate are required to live within 45 minutes of downtown Chattanooga.
Responsibilities...
Efficiently process customer applications and ensure accuracy.
Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide relevant information.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain expected performance levels.
Utilize strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues.
Operate basic Microsoft Office and Email systems effectively.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Display strong interpersonal skills and maintain a positive teamwork ethic.
Exhibit attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a data entry role or similar position
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications
Proven ability to perform scanning and typing tasks with accuracy
Experience in email correspondence, with good written communication skills
Demonstrated experience in data entry, with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of the insurance industry would be advantageous
