This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific, low-volume projects ensuring consistency with company commitments and goals. Additionally, a key component of the aspect of this role will be the ability to analyze issues, recommend solutions, and prioritize efforts across multiple functional groups.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the point of contact on assigned low-volume projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties
such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary review teams
Leads the planning and implementation of various projects
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define, plan and schedule project tasks, timelines, and resource requirements
Assemble and coordinate project stakeholders
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders identifying project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs within budget parameters
Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data
Support client engagement process in other business areas as required
Provide expertise on project management tools
May be assigned other duties
Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications: 4 years of experience of project management Experience in successfully leading project teams with multifaceted, competing priorities and deadlines, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic regions Experience in people management through effective communication and problem-solving analysis Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven solid interpersonal and client management skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Demonstrated excellent computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare related field
Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting productivity standards Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms 10% domestic travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some projects may require more out-of-the-area and overnight travel
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment
Requires prolonged sitting, some standing, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
