Job Description

The Manager, Pricing Strategy & Analytics will be responsible for helping execute the Company's strategic pricing agenda. The position requires strong price modeling and financial analysis experience to support the Finance and Merchandising Team. While this role will officially sit in the Finance Department, it will work in tandem with the merchandising team.

Duties and Responsibilities: • Help develop pricing guardrails by product category that align with each category's role and pricing strategies • Develop and present opportunities to increase profitability and/or sales through pricing initiatives • Consult business partners on the appropriate use of statistical and quantitative modeling and analysis techniques to inform decision-making process • Determine promotional and markdown prices to align with strategic objectives and optimize bottom-line profit • Monitor and evaluate the day-to-day pricing activities across all of the merchandise categories; develop... tools/reports to communicate pricing trends • Conduct standard and ad hoc analysis to identify key drivers of performance, recommend pricing decisions and strategies that will improve category performance, and develop financial plans that reflect pricing changes • Measure the success of pricing change activity to ensure the team meets company expectations while maintaining stated and approved pricing philosophies • Establish and maintain price testing roadmap to drive continuous learning across the organization Scope (Required): • Staff supervision and development - None • Decision making- Creates policy and resolves problems • Drafts policy documents and resolves problems • Provides data for decision support • Provides consultation or expert advice • Participates in planning business objectives • Travel - Minimal • Location- Remote / Anywhere

Requirements

Education (Required):
• A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a comparable field
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred

Skills (Required & Preferred):
• Strong executive presence; can build credibility with others in the organization and successfully work via influence
• Understanding of database structures; query writing skills a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to work with/contribute to a team
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and modeling software with demonstrated analytical and statistical modeling experience
Experience (Required):
• 4+ years of progressive responsibility within pricing strategy and analytics
• Strategy consulting, investment banking, and/or private equity experience a plus
• Prior experience in retail pricing, merchandising, or planning & analysis preferred
• Experience using and/or implementing sophisticated pricing tools, IT-savvy

The anticipated salary range for this position is $114,400- $171,100 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law
