SJR Social Media Account Managers are the foundation of the client services engine that ensures SJR is seen as a leading agency in digital content solutions around the world. Our Social Media Account Managers are talented all-rounders, equal parts project manager, researcher, social strategist and team coordinator. They are intuitive above all else, able to decode the nuances of working with clients and the role of account management in a creative, business solutions, high-pressure context. A motivated learner and strategic thinker with a can-do attitude, the Social Media Account Managers is interested in and informed on the latest cultural and digital trends and can apply their growing knowledge and skills to content strategy. They are an exceptional communicator who can deliver error-free work, participate in direct client communications, support their team members, all while tracking each projects progress. In short, they make it all happen, for clients and their colleagues. The Social Media Account Manager is the foundation of our client services engine, responsible for upholding the highest standards and setting the tone for the overall experience of working with SJR.
Responsibilities
Account Management (55%)
Runs day-to-day client communication and account administration, including:
Be key client contact on matters ranging from approach to timings, deliverables, issues, budgetand new opportunities with support from client lead
Writing timely emails, picking up the phone when necessary, being proactive about in-personmeetings, assisting with presentations, sending reports and agendas,
Manage project timelines and communicate deadlines and deliverables, working up and down withinthe team to ensure expectations are met
Establish fantastic relationships and communications across the agency and with its partners
Able to demonstrate problem solving skills when dealing with client requests & issues; escalating asnecessary and creating transparency around health of the relationship
Schedules, organizes, attends and participates in weekly team/client status meetings
Comes to meetings equipped with updates and ideas as per the agenda, takes notes and distributes them immediately following to SJR team and client, when necessary
Organizes contact reports and action items, packages into deliverables for clients and internal teams
Owns client status trackers for assigned accounts; maintains project timelines
Creates basic client briefs and is responsible for continuously updating key information into a project management application (e.g. Monday.com) for ongoing tracking and action
Formats and copyedits content deliverables, presentations, memos, POV documents, etc.
Supports client expansion opportunities through research, creating decks and assisting with presentations
Supports smooth operation of SJRs finance by submitting accurate and timely invoices, SOWs, estimates, vendor setup, freelancers, etc.
Creates briefs for editorial and creative teams, collates key information and feedback into a web-based project management application (e.g. Monday.com) and Word Docs for ongoing tracking and action
Social media, Creative + Editorial (40%)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner agencies in reporting and data-analysis, including establishing, tracking and monitoring KPIs in real-time and optimizing and pivoting strategies, tactics andcontent development
Monitor post sentiment
Demonstrate strategic thinking by keeping abreast of clients business, industry, audiences and competitive environment to build a comprehensive understanding of the inputs that affect their business and keeping theinternal team apprised of new developments
Stays on top of digital and social trends and industry news for assigned client(s)
Coordinate with the Editorial and other key team members to ensure the synchronization of brand voice and messaging
Work with appropriate creative teams to ensure client brand look and feel and voice guidelines are adhered to
Copywriting/editing for social media platforms especially LinkedIn with attention to detail to tags, hashtags, tone of voice and the relevant most up-to-date subject matter
Provide suggestions on creative assets
Ensure internal teams are equipped with the correct and most up-to-date information for post creation
Deliver client feedback in a timely manner for quick edits/revisions
Growth & Business Development (5%)
Be an active part of the business development function, identifying potential opportunities for organic growth within existing clients
Participate in pitch development and presentations as required
Stay abreast of social platform updates and algorithmic changes; be at the forefront of what is happening in the space and propose new platforms to enter and first to market programs and propose new platforms toenter and first to market program
Qualifications
Minimum of four-years experience working in a creative B2B and B2C marketing environment, ideally agency-based
Overall knowledge of social media platforms & strategy, experience creating content for LinkedIn and executives a plus
Interest and experience in global technology brands a plus
Ambitious with a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability of creative and innovative thought processes
Outstanding verbal and written skills able to deliver written materials error-free, grammatically correct and on-time
Proven ability to be meticulous, organized, technical, and creative at the same time
Experienced time management and project coordination skills to support multiple work streams and ensure delivery of high-quality work on tight deadlines
Ability to listen effectively, document proceedings accurately, drive and support ongoing dialogue
Ability to work independently and under close direction
Ability to connect and collaborate with a wide variety of people, an interdisciplinary team
Flexible, adaptable and responsive when quick turnarounds are required
Strong research skills
Experience using collaborative team communication and project management applications like Teams and Monday.com is preferable
Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000-90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
