The Loan Officer Assistant at United Trust Bank plays a crucial role in supporting mortgage loan officers to enhance loan production levels. This position involves direct interaction with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely loan closings. The role is based in Perkasie, PA, and is not remote, requiring full-time commitment with a pay range of $20 to $25 per hour plus bonuses.
Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, and emailing documents.

Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.

Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.

Review documents and entire loan files to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and notifying the mortgage loan officer or loan processor.

Clarify and correct information and obtain additional information as necessary via phone or email.

Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors as needed.

Work with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing as needed.

Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional FHA, VA, USDA, and NonQM loans.

Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
Requirements
Ability to deliver polite, educated, and professional customer service over the phone and in person.

Ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks; knowledge of general banking regulations and procedures.
,
Strong/advanced computer abilities, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, as well as internet navigation, social media, and CRM systems.

Ability to take on responsibility, show initiative, use sound judgment, and make and act on decisions.

Knowledge of lending terminology and the ability to speak with borrowers regarding lending requirements.

Prior experience with client relationships and the ability to cultivate new relationships.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.

Encompass experience is a plus.

Prefer 2 years' experience as a licensed Loan Officer or high volume processor.

High school diploma.
Nice-to-haves
