JOB SUMMARY: The VP, Business & Performance Management is responsible for leading strategic planning, performance, and financial analysis for the Digital Banking organization, developing insights to inform our strategy, key decisions across key functions and annual plans. This position collaborates closely with the Digital Banking Data & Analytics team, Marketing team, Product team, Finance, and leadership.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performance Management: Monitor and analyze the Digital Banking business units financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) Identify and help implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability Provide strategic recommendations to optimize spend allocation and achieve financial targets, including outlining potential tradeoffs (e.g., media spend vs. deposit pricing) Monitor financial impact of market fluctuations, economic changes, or industry trends (e.g., interest rate movement) Work closely with Finance to identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies Strategic and Financial Planning: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasts and long-term planning Develop business cases for new projects, products, and services, ensuring alignment with the banks strategic objectives and financially beneficial to the bank Support overall implementation and program management of strategic initiatives, as needed Prepare Digital Banking budget and forecast reporting for leadership, highlighting performance across key financial metrics (e.g., Cost of Funds) Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Support business and regulatory driven scenario planning and analysis as needed
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 - 7 years of financial and strategic planning and experience in Financial Services required Bachelors Degree from a 4-year, accredited institution, or equivalent experience required Extensive experience with financial modeling, business analytics, and insights required Experience in corporate strategy and/or management consulting a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and excellent presentation skills Experience in leading projects, teams and collaborating with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., IT, sales, marketing, operations) Self-starter with solid sense of urgency, accountability and excellent focus on attention to detail with the capability to work and make decisions in a constantly evolving environment Ability to develop strong relationships across the organization Excellent oral and written communication skills Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
