Job Summary:

We are in search of an energetic Coding Educator working in a remote role that will be responsible for ensuring inpatient coding accuracy based on education and training of staff and focus on maintaining a quality patient clinical database.

Job Functions:
• Coding Education & Training- Hospital Inpatient
• Staff Development
• New Coder Orientation
• Coding Inquiry Management
• Subject Matter Expert
• Issue Resolution
• Coding Technologies
• Documentation Standardization
• Process Improvement
• Reviews E&M levels selected by physicians on a monthly basis and provides feedback in order to increase awareness and accuracy.

Requirements: • CCS, RHIT or RHIA • 5 years inpatient coding experience • 3 years inpatient coding trainer, educator, auditor or manager experience • Associates/Bachelors degree preferred but not required
