Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support for IBM i, iSeries, and AS/400 environments.

Perform backups, migrations, release updates, PTF's, and disaster recovery testing.

Assist with system administration and perform system restores.

Setup and monitor backups, install PTF's and fixes, and setup LPARS.

Troubleshoot system problems and assist with help desk tasks.

Work as a member of a support team and individually, with occasional after-hours work.
,
Develop strong customer relationships and promote deeper involvement by sales and services team.
Requirements
2+ years of IBM i (AS400) technical support or operator experience.

Excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service.
,
Ability to work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Proven ability to work with little supervision and a detail-oriented approach.
Nice-to-haves
IBM Flash Storage experience.

Virtual Tape Library (VTL) experience.
