The role:
The Senior Director, Home Equity Business Lead is responsible for managing the successful operation of SoFis Home Equity business and helping to drive its growth. The role is responsible for managing day to day execution of the business, working with a cross-functional team including such key functions as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Pricing, Operations, Technology, and our Credit Risk and Compliance partners. The role will also collaborate with the Home Loans Business Unit leader on developing strategic initiatives addressing growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and while overseeing cross-functional execution.
What youll do:
Working with the Home Loans Business Unit Leader, continuously manage the prioritization of Marketing, Sales, Credit, Pricing, Operations, Product, Engineering and other initiatives that deliver against goals for business growth, member satisfaction, and profitability.
Work with marketing to drive optimal marketing spend and coordinate with sales to maximize efficiency of campaigns
Manage the long-term growth of the Home Equity business unit in line with company goals, while meeting short term deliverables
Lead targeted cross-functional business growth and improvement initiatives (e.g., product and go-to-market innovations)
Develop and provide regular reporting on Home Equity business performance/analytics and ensure timely communication in senior level meetings
Leverage data and analytics to drive business growth and help oversee the P&L
Participate in resourcing / budget, marketing strategy, and product roadmap discussions, advocating for Home Equity initiatives
Provide primary business unit leadership for EPD and Operations initiatives
What youll need:
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the home equity industry, with experience spanning analytical, strategic, and business line general management roles
10-15 Years of experience in the consumer direct lending industry
Solid knowledge and understanding of home equity lending products, pricing, credit, and underwriting
Demonstrated track record of successful business execution - developing meaningful business insights, and meeting OKRs
Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad, talented, cross-functional team
Curiosity, humility, truth seeking, analytical and logical mindset
Strong organizational and project management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Flexible and collaborative approach to problem solving and ideation
Respect for the member/customer experience
Nice to have:
MBA preferred but not required
