- Position Summary
- Provides support for day-to-day logistics and implementation related to workforce development initiatives and job pipelineopportunities, apprenticeship implementation, and othersolutions-oriented activities.
- Plan and maintain work systems, follow processes and policies that enable and encourage the meeting of workforce development andapprenticeship project objectives.
- Responsible for managing the process and monitoring course files to ensure complete data in areas such as class rolls, studentevaluations, course numbers, student registration functions andapprenticeship data.
- Undertakes projects and exercises sound judgement in the preparation of highly confidential student, trainee, apprentice andtraining provider correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to embrace, understand and implement the purpose and the vision of the College.
- Support and logistics for workforce development, continuing education programs and/or apprenticeship projects while workingcollaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience collecting and maintaining required sensitive confidential documentation and data for workforce development,grant-funded and apprentice participants.
- Day-to-day experience and knowledge working with internal systems/management tools such as Excel and/or Salesforce,Marketplace, Colleague.
- Knowledge of processes and procedures related to workforce development training and apprenticeship structures, and managementof data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create strong professional relationships with a variety of individuals within theDallas College community network.

- Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree (preferred) or High School Diploma with two (2) years’ experience in workforce development and/orapprenticeship projects (required).
- Accounts payable, purchasing and/or invoicing experience in workforce development and/or apprenticeship projects (preferred)(Marketplace).
- Two (2) years collecting and managing large amounts of workforce development and/or apprenticeship data for complexprojects.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with corporate, employer partners, workforce development and industryapprenticeship (required).
- Two (2) years extensive experience with and knowledge of internal systems such as Workday, Datatel/Colleague-screens and/orMarketplace (or similar system experience elsewhere.
- Official transcript will be required.
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

- Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data, determining the status of timelines, and performance goals to come to a solution that best accomplishessuccessful project completion.
- Assist with grant-funded project activities, such as tracking and reporting of data related to trainees, apprentices, training,revenues/expenditures, and other deliverables to meet all projectmilestones.
- Assist with apprenticeship and/or workforce development project management processes and procedures, including data tracking,budgeting, and reporting.
- Set goals and motivate team members to accomplish workforce development and apprenticeship targets and milestones, delegatingtasks as needed to support successful project completion.
- Experience with local, state, and/or federal grant agencies and tracking/reporting systems such as RAPIDS and Appian Cloud basedplatforms.
- Effectively manage team group dynamics to ensure positive work environment and achieve departmental goals.
- Disseminate information among team members and key stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with internal/external work groups to develop and improve multiparty initiatives for complex businessprojects that involve local/state/federal grants andapprenticeships initiatives.
- Provide and share knowledge for process improvements to address the effectiveness of work processes and solutions.
- Communicates appropriately with upper management regarding key initiatives, progress updates on various projects, etc.
- Maintain large, detailed database and use technology to assist within scheduled deadlines.
- Ability to understand new emerging trends related to workforce development and/or apprenticeship and prepares for changes that mayoccur because of these trends.
- Able to work independently and be a strong effective team player, committed to delivering timely results; with excellentorganization skills and effectively manage multiple tasks andprojects simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively use a variety of software and information systems to input, retrieve, manage data, generatereports, prepare spreadsheets/reports and inter-officecommunications.
- Ability to analyze problem situations, identify feasible solutions, and present recommendations in a concise, logical andsystematic manner.
- Must be able to use a variety of communication skills to convey information to individuals both internal and external to theorganization.
- Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
