Placement Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough searches for placement resources, including relative, foster home, treatment foster home, group home, and higher level of care options.
• Collaborate with case managers, licensing specialists, and permanency consultants to identify the most suitable placement options for each child.
• Develop and maintain relationships with placement providers to ensure timely and effective placements.
• Ensure accurate and professional documentation of all referrals, files, and data tracking.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available resources and placement options to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Experience working with children in out-of-home care, preferably in a Child Welfare setting.
• Strong assessment skills to determine the best placement matches for children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals.
• Proficiency in computer software packages, including Microsoft Office and Cobris.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
