Position: IT QA Specialist
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 hybrid/onsite every other Tuesday & Wednesday
Compensation: $50-60hr - depending on experience
Purpose:
The IT Quality Assurance Specialist acts as part of a team of IT professionals focused on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and guidance in the business strategy through the planned advent and usage of new and existing technology. They do this through participation in the quality assurance team, analysis of new initiatives in relation to the existing product test cases, as well as participation in project execution and preparation for production. Through these activities, the IT Quality Assurance Specialist will provide initial test and use case analysis, test case library updates, regular feedback to development teams, and quality output reports and metrics for initiatives. The IT Quality Assurance Specialist will foster an environment of open communication, learning, quality customer service, problem-solving, risk management and idea generation.
Essential Functions:
Manual & automated product testing.
Test case planning and execution.
Project requirements input and analysis.
Reporting and metrics analysis.
Defect tracking and troubleshooting.
Regression test maintenance.
Perform mobile, browser and application testing.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years experience in software quality assurance and the SDLC process
2+ years experience in Jira or equivalent Scrum management tools
1+ years of Postman or equivalent Rest/API testing tools
1+ years of mobile, browser or application testing
1+ years of experience in Kanban or Scrum methodologies
Good understanding of test automation
Must be capable of successfully satisfying business need through maintaining high levels of quality assurance in development and implementation of software
Balance multiple tasks and proactively prioritizing work under changing conditions
Should have the experience and skills needed to navigate complex organizations, including communication, interpersonal relations, and group development
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are imperative
Capable of strong problem solving, technical, analytical, mathematical, organizational, decision making and administrative skills and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Business or related field
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions
Automated build and deployment testing
Performance Testing
Automation testing for Mobile, Browser or Desktop Applications
Experience in Credit Union or Financial Services industry
