Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.
• Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Apply mechanical tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements
• High school, GED or equivalent
• Forklift certified
• maintenance, construction, electrical or related fields in the Manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of the lockout/tagout procedures
• Basic mechanical skills
• Welding experience
• Electrical experience
• Experience with working on drag conveyors, screw conveyors, gearboxes, pulley systems, chains and sprockets
• Experience with control wiring and three phase 240 and 480 volts
• Experience working with Hydraulic and pneumatic controls
• Able to support off-shift maintenance issues when skills are not immediately available during operating hours which includes working overtime
• Able to perform basic 3-phase and single-phase industrial electrical repairs
• Able to perform diagnostic tests with a basic electrical multimeter (voltage, current draw, and continuity)
• Able to read blueprints and electrical drawings
• Must be flexible and can be a team player in a positive and professional manner.
• Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
