Posted 2025-05-18The Global Supply Chain Project Manager will successfully manage and lead moderate to large enterprise Global Supply Chain Distribution facility projects. Which involves overseeing, coordinating and leading all workstreams impacted by the distribution center facility projects.
This is a hybrid role within our Lewisville TX facility, 3 days on site.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this internship?
Manage enterprise projects using best practices and be accountable for delivering required deliverables by understanding and balancing the competing demands for project scope, time (including estimating), cost, risk, and quality
Develops project plans, outlines project scope, and defines project objectives
Manage enterprise projects that involve workstream cross-site team members
Understand and comply with established corporate standards and methodologies, this includes, but is not limited to, financial, ITIL processes, security, audit, SOX controls and configuration management
Proactively manage internal and external customer expectations on current and future business needs
Understand the PMBOK knowledge areas and key processes and apply knowledge of industry practices
Display working knowledge with differing types of projects (i.e. facility builds, process line configuration/builds, RFI/RFP/Partner/vendor selection, business automation and efficiency process, technology, etc)
Handle multiple assignments concurrently
Communicate with cross-site (enterprise) project team members, using written and oral communication skills to persuade and influence others
Foster an environment which encourages clear communication across multiple sites and functional areas
Participate as a team leader or enterprise project team member and demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision from Manager
Manages resources (people, equipment, materials) to ensure efficient and effective project execution
Creates and maintains project schedules, identifies critical paths, and ensures projects are completed on time
Develops and manages project budgets, tracks expenses, and ensures projects stay within budget
Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation plans, and addresses issues proactively
Identifies areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implements solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
Manages changes to project plans, scope, and timelines effectively
If the project is part of a larger program, and a Program Manager is assigned, the project manager works to ensure the project plan is incorporated into the overall Program plan and represented accurately
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., project management software, ERP systems, WMS systems)
Bachelors Degree or 4 years equivalent experience in engineering management, business management, account management, project management, project/program implementations and/or project/program execution
Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and executing projects
Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials
Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Project management skills preferably experience in delivering Supply Chain Solutions
Ability to manage projects with medium to high complexity
Managed team of up to 5 associates
Manage projects for internal and external stakeholders
