We are seeking a Manager, Marketing Communications to lead and inspire our marketing communications team, shaping the voice of the Synapse ITS brand and ensuring alignment across all platforms. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will manage a team of four communications specialists, providing strategic direction, creative guidance, and hands-on support to develop compelling content that drives awareness, lead generation, and brand loyalty.

This is a full-time, Remote to hybrid role based in Victoria, BC, with a salary range of $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for a team of four Communications Specialists, fostering collaboration, development, and high performance.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of product assets including data sheets, web pages, and presentation decks, and manage internal/external resources to produce product videos.
Develop and execute a cohesive content strategy that supports brand storytelling, lead generation, and buyer journey optimization.
Write and optimize website content to maximize SEO performance, improve traffic, and enhance user experience.
Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to conduct research and analyze data to inform strategic campaigns and improve conversion rates.
Partner with the sales team to generate aligned promotional content and campaigns that support revenue goals.
Lead the development of visually compelling infographics, brochures, web banners, and other marketing materials tailored to target audiences.
Oversee social media content planning and execution, ensuring messaging consistency and brand alignment.
Track and report on campaign performance and team output, leveraging analytics to improve marketing effectiveness.
Champion brand standards and tone across all external-facing communications and ensure quality control of all content.
Manage project timelines, priorities, and workflows to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborate with external vendors, freelancers, and creative partners as needed.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in marketing communications, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
Demonstrated success in leading marketing communications teams and delivering integrated content strategies across digital and print platforms.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities tailored to various audiences and marketing channels.
Proficiency in web content management systems and CRMs (WordPress and HubSpot) and analytics tools.
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience developing and scaling content channels including LinkedIn, blogs, and e-newsletters.
A collaborative, proactive leadership style that inspires team engagement, creativity, and accountability.
