Description
In this role you will be responsible for collaborating internally with other Container Pros departments to ensure that all aspects of each project are compatible with production schedules and other company requirements and will work directly with field teams, as well as 3rd party vendors, to coordinate logistics, assigned responsibilities, monitoring & reporting progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
The successful candidate will work directly with customers to ensure that specialty waste service projects fall within the agreed-upon scope of work and budgeted. This is a hands-on role and requires someone that is comfortable performing a variety of tasks while collaborating with others.
Responsibilities
Coordinate, monitor and track progress of projects ensuring project milestones are met
Helps maintain master calendar of all projects
Assists Contracts Manager with obtaining signed service agreements and purchase orders upon notice of project award.
Coordinates and communicates with customers, subcontractors, shipping and production, and others to ensure project scheduling and completions
Collaborates on budgets based upon data findings and other project factors
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
Create reports based on work crew results
Maintains project documentation and delivers to customers and others
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all stakeholders
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
Manage and mitigate project risks through planning and logistics
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Coordinate with customers to clarify the specific requirements of each project
Track project performance and analyze successful completions to implement best-practices
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 3 years experience with project coordination, or related field of work
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic software suites
Excellent time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in making presentations to effectively interact with customers and internal/external teams.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment to meet specific deadlines
Comfortable knowledge and understanding working with project line-item budgets
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Ability to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to identify and resolve logistical challenges, making quick and informed decisions under pressure
