Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating and developing process improvement and Operation Standardization across Ground Operations. Using data to drive the direction of Ground Ops strategy, with a focus on identifying opportunities, will influence short-term and long-term planning cycles to support our ground support equipment, mobile devices and workforce.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain forecast models and predictive analysis on Department Metrics
Conduct planning and analysis for operational staffing, ground support equipment, mobile devices and personal protective equipment (PPE) by facilitating the development of models with defined standards that accurately represent Station needs
Deliver analysis and solutions or recommendations that illustrate a clear understanding of the business problem at hand as well as the broader impact across the Operational group and Company
Develop financial and operational standards to reflect Ground Ops strategy, as well as an implementation plan
Identify areas to improve operational performance and business process through an understanding of Customer/process insights, assurance data, strategic needs, and risk management
Lead projects and improvement efforts by defining objectives, structuring the work, directing Team Members, developing recommendations, and implementing changes
Participate in conducting business impact and risk assessments to determine people, process, and technology impacts at the Company, Department, and job-specific levels and determine the best approach for addressing impacts and risks
Work in collaboration with the Ground Ops Standards & Compliance at the Direction of the Sr Mgr to ensure operational procedures and processes are updated in all manuals and resulting audits prove compliant
Serve as Subject Matter Expert to multiple internal and cross-Departmental projects and work as a liaison with other departments and workgroups to ensure Ground Ops needs are met when space planning based on operational needs
May perform other job duties as directed by Employees Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
Knowledge of data mining and analysis
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Customer and personal services including Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer satisfaction
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
Skilled in utilizing forecasting, analysis, optimization, and editing software and tools
Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
Ability to utilize analytical platforms (R, Python, SQL, Alteryx, etc.)
Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among unrelated events)
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
Airline Ground Operations
Applied statistics, business analytics, strategic planning, workforce planning, equipment forecasting, or finance
Predictive or prescriptive analysis
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to write for long periods of time
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 10 lbs.

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $105,550 per year to $117,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience, with opportunity for future pay increases based on performance and market movement. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
