Emergent Software is looking for a Microsoft Copilot & Modern Work Engineer who is a smart, passionate, and curious problem solver with demonstrated expertise using Microsofts Copilot and Copilot Studio to solve business problems. In addition to Copilot expertise, a qualified candidate is capable of assisting clients with other Microsofts Modern Workplace products such as M365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra, and Intune on an as-needed basis. This 100% remote position is for self-starters with good communication skills, work ethic, and the ability to participate and lead projects using the Microsoft 365 Modern Work stack.

Microsoft Copilot & Modern Work Engineer Primary Duties
Copilot Solutions Development: Design and deploy Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions customized to meet specific client business requirements. Ensure seamless integration with clients' existing workflows and systems to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Copilot Studio Development: Develop AI-powered solutions and chatbot agents utilizing Copilot Studio, focusing on creating intuitive and efficient interfaces that meet the specific needs of the business.
Training and Enablement: Lead comprehensive training sessions aimed at educating users on leveraging Microsoft Copilot features effectively. Focus on enhancing productivity and enabling advanced data analysis capabilities, tailored to user roles and business processes.
Ongoing Support and Innovation: Provide consistent and proactive support for all Copilot implementations. Address and resolve issues swiftly, and stay abreast of the latest Copilot developments and updates to ensure systems are optimized, incorporate new features, and adapt to changing business needs.
Microsoft 365 Solutions Implementation: Design and implement other Microsoft 365 solutions beyond Copilot as schedule allows (eg Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange), focusing on optimal integration and adherence to best practices.
Microsoft Copilot & Modern Work Engineer Qualifications
Experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 product stack platform including but not limited to Entra ID, 365 Admin Center, SharePoint, Intune, etc.
Proven success and comfort level leading projects from start to finish
Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable speaking to clients
Ability to estimate tasks effectively and accurately
Ability to gather and write strong requirements based on clients business objectives
Competence in at least three areas with advanced understanding and knowledge in at least one:
Microsoft 365 Entra ID Suite
Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune, Windows 365, Azure VDI)
Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (Purview, Collaboration, Permissions)
Microsoft Defender Suite (Identity, Endpoint, Office, Azure Sentinel)
Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Studio
Nice to Have Experience
Previous consulting experience
Working directly with customer teams of various sizes
Microsoft Certifications (MD-102, MS-102, MS-721, MS-700, SC-400, SC-300, SC-200, AZ-500)
Microsoft Sentinel experience
Microsoft Power Automate or PowerApps experience
Project management or project lead skills
AI tool experience like Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, OpenAI, etc
