Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role for a Customer Retention Specialist located in Joplin, MO. The Customer Retention Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing customer relationships, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional service, and working to retain current policyholders. The role involves proactive outreach to customers, identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, and promoting the benefits of continuing coverage with American Family Insurance.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Organizational and time management skills for handling multiple customer interactions
Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of insurance products and services is an advantage
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field preferred
Previous experience in customer service or retention roles is beneficial
Property & Casualty Insurance license required - can help obtain but must have prior to starting
